Oscar Brock: Conservative for School Board

Oscar Brock

Oscar Brock is a proven, lifelong Conservative whose decision to run for School Board started with a belief in the need for good government and an awareness that education is a game-changing factor for our youth.

Oscar has a passion for education and a track record of leading and collaborating with community members to build business and create jobs. He has consistently contributed to the growth of our local area during his more than 20 years of experience in real estate development. Oscar has spent thousands of hours volunteering to make Chattanooga better, serving in more than a dozen local schools. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University and his master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University.

“It is not enough to have a few great schools; this great city deserves a great school system.”

His commitment to good government extends back to 1986 when he managed his first campaign. A committed Reagan Republican, Oscar had knocked on thousands of doors, worked hand-in-hand with some of the state’s greatest Republican leaders, and led several campaigns and advocacy efforts for our local GOP. He notably fought to maintain Tennessee’s Right-to-Work status and to also merge our city and county school systems. Oscar additionally served as Third District Chair for both the 2008 McCain/Palin and 2012 Romney/Ryan presidential campaigns and Executive Committeeman for the Tennessee Republican Party.

“I began giving back to Chattanooga just as soon as I came home from college, and I’d like to continue that service.”

With a firm belief in the power of education and a devotion to good, Republican government, Oscar humbly, asks for your vote to serve as your District 6 School Board Representative.
