Colonel Christopher R. Dooley, JAG, USAF (Ret). Our own chapter member Col Chris Dooley will be our dinner speaker in October and will address the establishment of a Veterans Court in Hamilton County. Col Dooley along with LTC Ray Adkins spearheaded the establishment of the court locally.

Chris earned his BA in pre-law at Bob Jones University, his JD at the University of South Carolina, and his commission in 1982 through the AFROTC program. He is also a graduate of the Squadron Officer School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. Col Dooley served in a wide scope of international assignments including tours in England, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Korea, and Afghanistan. He received the Keenan Award in 2002 designating him as the Outstanding Air Force Operations and International Law Attorney. He is the recipient of numerous military decorations including Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Defense Meritorious Service Medal (2), Meritorious Service Medal (4), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal (2), Joint Service Achievement Medal (2), and Air Force Achievement Medal. Colonel Dooley retired in 2013 after 31 years of distinguished service to our country.

A lunch buffet will be served for $12. We ask that you RSVP (by replying to this email) NLT Friday at Noon if you plan to eat.

The meeting begins at Noon and ends promptly at 1:00 p.m. Come join us each Monday during your lunch hour and great food while staying informed and on top of local, state and national politics.
